About Us

The office of the department of obstetrics and gynecology is located at Brockville General Hospital at 75 Charles St. The department consists of three obstetrician/gynecologists: Dr. Kristin Finkenzeller, Dr. Tammy LeRiche, and Dr. Maria Kielly. The department is a clinical teaching unit and is involved in the training of medical students and residents (doctors who are specializing in ob/gyn), who you may meet at some visits in our clinic. Together, the ob/gyns provide a full range of general gynecologic services including colposcopy, minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. The obstetricians provide support to a team of midwives, who consult obstetrics as needed for their patients in pregnancy and during delivery. We have two family doctors who provide low-risk obstetrical care as well as newborn care, Dr. Meera Ruparelia and Dr. Kaitlyn Whelan. We currently have two doctors who provide newborn and pediatric care, Dr. Harvinder Chawla and Dr. Karolina Burghardt.
